  • /Olga Kofman
    Bravo Director and Head Coach

    Olga began training in Russia at the age of 5 and competed for 12 years. Olga earned the title of "Master of Sport "and won numerous titles and awards in regional, national and international competitions. She was also nominated as an Honorary citizen of her home town for her accomplishments in the sport. She previously headed the Children's Educational Camps and Programs in Saint-Petersburg beginning her work with children in 2004. Olga graduated with a degree in Law and Philology from the University of Saint-Petersburg, and is a member of USA Gymnastics.


    Olga holds certifications from USA Gymnastics University (Instructor, Safety & Risk Management, USOC SafeSport) and is AHA-certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED, and Asthma Care.


    Olga has been coaching Rhythmic Gymnastics Since 2011. She works with all levels of gymnasts and trained regional and state champions who have gone on to compete at the national level. Olga has been awarded Coach of the Year for Region 1 (Arizona, CA, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah) 6 times.

    Santa Clara Head Coach

    Kate began practicing rhythmic gymnastics professionally in Russia at the age of 4. Her sports career lasted 15 years, including many training sessions, camps, and international competitions. She has the title of Master of Sports, is a former member of the Russian national team, and is also a three-time champion of Moscow.


    Kate holds degrees in Sports (specializing in Rhythmic Gymnastics Coaching) and Business Management. She is certified by USA Gymnastics in Instruction, Safety & Risk Management, and SafeSport, and is AHA-certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED, and Asthma Care.


    Kate has been coaching Rhythmic Gymnastics Since 2018. She works with both junior and elite-level gymnasts. In her work, Kate pays attention to high-quality basic gymnastic skills, apparatus technique, and artistry. Her passion is creativity and attention to detail. She loves involving her students in training and experimenting with new elements and routines.

  • /Anastasiya Kornyenko
    Coach

    Anastasiya has been coaching at Bravo since 2018. Before Bravo she was the director of the rhythmic gymnastics program at Gold Star from 2004 to 2018. She has been awarded Region 1 Coach of the Year 6 times. She currently coaches at the Santa Clara location working with our pre-team, xcel and DVP programs.


    Anastasiya is certified by USA Gymnastics in gymnastics instruction, safety and risk management, and SafeSport policies.

  • /Marina Kozlova
    Coach

    Marina is an International Master of Sports and a former member of the Russian National Team. She represented Russia in numerous international competitions, winning gold at the 30th World Summer University Games in Napoli, Italy (2019) and the European Games in Minsk, Belarus (2019), as well as bronze at the World Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria (2019).


    Marina holds a B.S. in Physical Education – Rhythmic Gymnastics from the renowned Saint-Petersburg Lesgaft National University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree. Her gymnasts have achieved State, Regional, and National Championships in both Individual and Group competitions, and she has been recognized multiple times as Region 1 Coach of the Year.


    She is certified by the American Heart Association in CPR, AED, and First Aid, and by USA Gymnastics in Instruction, Safety & Risk Management, and SafeSport. She currently works with the Pre-team, Xcel and DVP programs in Redwood City.

  • /Aksana Laziuk
    Coach and Ballet Instructor

    Aksana began studying and practicing dance at the age of 6, and her professional career spans over 12 years. She has 8 years of experience as a teacher and choreographer in ballet, contemporary, and jazz. Aksana has danced with organizations such as the Cloud Gate Dance Theater of Taiwan, MSC Cruises, and Princess Cruises Entertainment.


    Aksana holds an Honors Degree in Choreography from Grodno State College of Arts and Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. In addition, Aksana is certified by USA Gymnastics in Gymnastics Instruction Safety, Risk Management, and Safe Sport policies.


    In 2023, Aksana began coaching rhythmic gymnastics, where she guides students through the learning process to help them develop motor skills, strong posture, flexibility, balance, and coordination. She currently works with our beginners and xcel 3 at the Santa Clara location.

  • /Anfisa Kupriyanova
    Operations Manager

    Anfisa has been at Bravo since 2020 and has over six years of coaching experience. A former elite rhythmic gymnast, she trained for 12 years in the U.S. and Russia and was a member of the USA Senior Group National Team in 2016. She has also competed in collegiate powerlifting and Division I swimming. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy and is currently pursing her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She is certified by USA Gymnastics in instruction, safety & risk management, SafeSport and is an Xcel Judge.


    At Bravo, Anfisa takes an athlete-first approach by prioritizing safety, mental health, and injury prevention for young gymnasts.

  • Anastasiia Diakova
    Coach

    Anastasiia has an extensive competitive background in rhythmic and aesthetic gymnastics. She is a multiple-time Russian Champion in Aesthetic Gymnastics, a World Junior Championships Silver Medalist (2005), a European Championships Silver Medalist (2006), and a multiple-time winner of international rhythmic gymnastics tournaments.


    With over 15 years of coaching and choreography experience, Anastasiia has worked with gymnasts of all ages and competitive levels. She also has a background in classical ballet, contemporary dance, and professional musical theater, bringing creativity, artistry, and attention to detail to her coaching.


    Since coaching in the United States, Anastasiia has trained multiple State and Regional Champions and was recognized as Region 6 Coach of the Year in both 2025 and 2026 for coaching the Regional Level 5 Champion.


    Anastasiia is a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics and holds certifications in SafeSport, Safety & Risk Management, and Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction.

  • /Kimi Iwasaki
    Junior Coach

    Kimi competed as an elite-level rhythmic gymnast for 11 years, earning awards at the state, regional, and national level for Bravo. In 2025, she competed in the FIG Elite category at USAG Championships (Top 25 in the nation), and she has been a coach at Bravo since 2022.


    Currently, Kimi is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Santa Barbara studying biochemistry on the pre-medicine track. Overall, she hopes to share her love for rhythmic gymnastics with students of all ages and experience levels!
